Lauren driving the beer cart was on point!! The last 10 or so rounds we would see the beer cart once, maybe twice if lucky enough to seem them on the other nine you’re not on and haven’t been happy with it. Lauren drove by us 3 times and every time had a great big smile, full of joy and had a great personality! Hope I’m not misspelling the name but thank you and hope to see you out there again and more beer cart drivers like you around!

I am told this has a very good course but as a hotel it is a bit run down and in dire need of an update. The staff is super friendly and helpful but the rooms are generally poorly lit and the room amenities a little ragged. The Kuerig overflowed, the rooms smelled a little rank and mildewy, the carpets need replacement, you need to work the door to lock it and the beds are soft like pillows. The maid service didn't clean the room, they replaced the towels and that was all. They did fold them nicely though. 20 minutes drive from Wilmington and 20 minutes from Carolina Beach. So that's not bad.

We had a great stay—this place truly feels like a hidden gem. I visited with my family for a vacation, and the overall value was solid considering the pricing and room quality. What stood out most wasn’t just the rooms, but the experience itself. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and made the stay memorable. Special mention to the woman who greeted us and the one who served us at the bar—both were outstanding. Great people and a great place to stay.
